Khepri

Khepri is a scarab-faced god in ancient Egyptian religion who represents the rising or morning sun. By extension, he can also represent creation and the renewal of life. When I found Khepri, he was badly decayed in a field near my home, most would have passed him by, yet he called to me and demanded a new life much like the rising of the sun after the dark night.
